Drumming Djembe & Don Dons at the GREAT NORTH RUN -13th September 2015.
A big thank you to all the Great North Run 2015 runners who waved, clapped, smiled, cheered, and acknowledged the rhythmical drumming music as they ran past us outside the Gateshead Stadium.

meI felt honoured to be part of a fantastic Newcastle Drumming group that played Djembe Drums and Don Dons Drums for the 57,000 runners who took on 13.1 miles on that lovely, sunny Sunday day, and the weather was just perfect for this great noble unparalleled Newcastle to South Shields yearly event. We were drumming to enthuse and cheer on the runners, and the best part was seeing the smiles on the runners’ faces, and feeling the live energy around. It was great, and I really loved it. Big thanks to Mark, Tracey, Karen, and Wendy etc. just to name a few.
Please does anybody know any Great North Run organisers whom I can approach to ask if I can volunteer to do massages for the runners next year in 2016? If so please feel free to contact me any time on my mobile 07752054430. I have my Therapist Insurance, my Membership and my qualifications at hand. Please.

2015-09-20 15 10 42A Big Thank You to all the good people who braved the wind and made the time to have a short free taster of hand massage and seated chair Back and Neck and Shoulder Massage.
This was on a cold windy day at the Quayside Market on 20th September 2015. Somehow I missed the gentleman who was supposed to put up the pop up gazebo for me to show case the therapies that I offer at Bliss Fountain Holistic Therapies in Gateshead, Newcastle. In spite of that, I decided to brave the windy cold weather and do hand massages and seated chair Back Neck and Shoulder massages in the open!! My Banners took a battering, one collapsed and declared itself “out of use” immediately, and the 2nd one limped on, incurred a few dents (hence my holding it in the pic!!) and somehow survived the winds.
Some of the great passers-by were stopping and reading, and some would help prop the banner upright! God bless their wee cotton socks, and Thank You!!
